Classic brown houndstooth 40s skirt suit with a longer cut. The jacket includes shoulder pads. It has a pointed lapel. There are two patch pockets on the front hips. Closes with an abalone shell button- one is missing in action. Seams are bound. 

The high waist skirt comes to mid calf, it is cut in 4 panels and closes with a centre-back metal Conmar zipper and button. Unlined. 

A great set to have in your wardrobe. Both pieces can be mixed and matched with other items. The skirt would be very cute hemmed shorter.

CONDITION: One button missing on the jacket. A few moth holes -one on the skirt waistband, two on the jacket. Two stains on the front of the skirt.
